Sterling Bank Services implements these environmental commitments through the following actions:
- Development and sales of a custom formulated line of environmentally friendly cleaning products, design specifically for use on banking equipment.
- Field operations programs to encourage re-use of cleaning rags, recycling of obsolete signs, light bulbs and other parts, and carefully routed work to reduce use of fossil fuels.
- Office practices increasing energy efficiency through auto shutdown of computers, programmed thermostats, access to bike racks to encourage alternate modes of transportation. Programs to reduce resource use to include recycling of aluminum, plastic and paper, and implementation of paperless processes.
- Ongoing training programs to ensure the safety and health of our employees.
